If yes do you help them or is it someone else’s problem. Well many people think it’s someone else problem, but the truth is it’s our problem. They gave there all for each of us! PROBLEM: Veterans being let go from service without appropriate long tern help. Leaves unthinkable large numbers of Veterans helpless without knowledge on how to fit back in to the world they left behind, so they become homeless. FACTS: VA estimates that 107,000 veterans are homeless on any given night, and over the course of a year, approximately twice that many experience homelessness. Only eight percent of the general population can claim veteran status, but nearly one-fifth of the homeless population are veterans. Fact: VA’s specialized homeless programs served more than 92,000 veterans in 2009, which is highly commendable. Holden from The Catcher in the Rye and Paul from Six degrees of Separations help to explore the workings of the human condition, both boys are conflicted with their lives and have difficulty fitting into their society. However these two texts do put the boys in different positions in life, Holden has what Paul desires but it does not give him the love and care he unknowingly needs. The marginal cost faced by the monopolist is the same as SS. Equilibrium in the competitive market is at point E where the market demand curve cuts the market supply curve. In other words, this is the point where price equals marginal cost. P* is the corresponding equilibrium price. At this price Q* quantity will be sold. However, the equilibrium condition in the monopoly market is different from that of a competitive market. The necessary condition of equilibrium is Marginal Revenue (MR) = Marginal Cost (MC) (McKenzie Lee, 2016). This can be shown in the above diagram. At the monopoly market equilibrium, the market price rises to P1 and the quantity supplied reduces to Q1. Thus, it can be derived that for a Monopolistic Market, reduced quantity of products are supplied at higher prices.
